“After seeing many doctors and specialists and getting no results, I developed an interest in Ayurveda and met with Lisa. She taught me that your body knows how to heal itself if you only listen to what it is asking for."
Ayurveda is the knowledge and science of life.
Ayur = science Veda = Life
Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing that originated in India. It has been enjoying a major resurgence, not only throughout the world, but also in its native land, after being suppressed for many years during foreign occupation.
Traditional Chinese medicine and Tibetan medicine both have their origins in Ayurveda. Greek medicine shared many of its same concepts. The majority of India’s population today uses Ayurvedic medicine exclusively or combined with conventional Western medicine, and it is practiced in varied forms in Southeast Asia.
Modern medical science is increasingly validating what Ayurvedic natural medicine has known at its roots for thousands of years.
The Universal Elements
Ayurveda acknowledges that each person is made up of a unique ratio of the five elements found in the universe: space or ether, air, fire, water, and earth. These elements make up your personal constitution.
Because everything in the universe, living and non-living, is intertwined. anything that disrupts harmony and balance of our emotional, physical, spiritual, and environmental energy can lead to dis-ease, poor health, and illness.
A Blueprint For Relief and Vitality
Ayurveda assesses the whole picture of one’s life, and seeks out the root causes of disease instead of just treating symptoms.
When the mind, body, and spirit are wholesomely connected with The Universe and our desires, abundant health is achieved.
